SC Utilities Defend Solar Practices

South Carolina currently generates less than 1% of its electricity from solar energy. In contrast, North Carolina has a state law requiring its utilities to generate 12.5% of the state’s electricity from solar and other renewables by 2021, but SC power companies say we are moving in the right direction.
